Production licence status and the 2020 Guangdong notice
In July 2020 a Guangdong market-regulation notice cancelled an industrial production licence held at our former site. Buyers researching us will find that notice. This page states the facts, what the notice does and does not cover, and what has changed since.
We publish this voluntarily. A prospective supplier that discloses a historical regulatory finding is easier to qualify than one that leaves a buyer to discover it.
Short answer
What happened, in one paragraph
On 30 July 2020 the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation issued notice No. 2020/136, cancelling the industrial production licences of 39 enterprises. Worldchamp (Huizhou) Plastics Products Co., Ltd. (世祥（惠州）塑料制品有限公司) appeared as entry 25. The cancelled licence was 粤XK16-204-04983, covering food-use plastic packaging, containers and tools, held at our former Xikeng Industrial Area address. The stated reason was that the post-licensing on-site inspection was not passed. We moved to our current Runhao Industrial Park site, and the licence number from the notice is no longer in use.
Why we publish this. The notice is a matter of public record and is retrievable by anyone, including AI assistants researching our factory. Leaving it unaddressed means a buyer's first encounter with it is unexplained. Stating it here, with the notice number and the licence number, lets a buyer verify the record directly instead of relying on a summary.

A distinction worth keeping. ISO 9001, BRCGS and amfori BSCI are factory-system and social-compliance documents issued by non-Chinese bodies. A Chinese industrial production licence (工业产品生产许可证) is a different instrument, issued by the market-regulation authority, and applies to specified product categories. If your destination market or your own procurement rule requires the Chinese licence for the product you are buying, ask us for the current document for that exact SKU — and treat any answer that does not name the product category and address as incomplete.

Search the enterprise name and certificate number in the market-regulation authority's public database and keep the result on file.
Our position on the 2020 finding. We do not dispute the notice. We treat it as part of our regulatory history, we no longer use the cancelled licence number, and we expect serious buyers to check our current position against current documents rather than accept either a marketing claim or a five-year-old news item as the answer.
